Terry and Helen Melbourne are the vibrant and dedicated owners of the Bungalow Motel Gilgandra having relocated from Tamworth in 2023.

As a down-to-earth Aussie couple, they bring a touch of old-school charm and personalized service to their guests. With eight children and nine grandchildren,(and growing) family is at the core of their business values. 

Helen's passion for culinary arts shines through in the delightful dishes she serves at the motel and manages her candle company - Melbourne Hand Poured Candles. Not only is she a talented cook, but she is also a fully qualified beauty therapist, ensuring guests feel pampered and relaxed during their stay.

Whilst Terry's expertise lies in landscaping and pool maintenance, honed through over 30 years of experience managing municipal swimming pools. Alongside running the Bungalow Motel, Terry manages his business, Swamps to Lagoons Pool Maintenance, offering top-notch services to North Western NSW.

The Melbourne's warmth and enthusiasm are infectious, with friends and family often lending a hand at the motel, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
